Future of the bus service

Staffordshire County Council have announced that the 82 bus service will be cancelled from the end of March. They are looking for alternative funding and it is hoped that an operator will tender to run a reduced service which serves Elford. It is expected that this process will take at least two months.

In the meantime the Parish Council is hoping to introduce temporary measures to cover this period and to assist local people to reach essential services. Details will follow shortly when arrangements have been made.
